Nanovision
An app to each kids the power of Nano-Technology
Nanovision aims to create an immersive learning environment that is publicly available for nanoscience and nanotechnology education. By creating an augmented reality (AR) environment, we can bridge the gap between higher education and the public about one of the exciting and relevant topics of our internet-of-things life. This project focuses on the mix of education with gaming to expose children to the names, appearance, and basic scientific facts of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
Supporting the vision and leadership of Dr. Babak Anasori, the Nanovision project is an ongoing student-led research project in partnership between the Institute for Engaged Learning and the Department of Mechanical Engineering where Dr. Rogers served as a mentor overseeing usability and assessment on the project.
